On June 4, 2025, the well-known German engineering company MAN Energy Solutions–the Swiss branch is a member of SPIN–announced its rebranding to Everllence. This new name is a significant milestone. It marks the company’s transformation towards a stronger focus on climate-neutral technologies. It also emphasizes industrial defossilisation.
According to CEO Uwe Lauber, the change reflects the next step in implementing the strategy “Moving big things to zero”. The company, which has long been associated with engines and turbomachinery, has evolved into a provider of industrial-scale heat pumps, carbon capture systems, and climate-neutral maritime propulsion technologies. Everllence is also contributing to the hydrogen economy through its electrolyser subsidiary, Quest One.
Gunnar Kilian, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Member of the Board of Management at Volkswagen Group, emphasised that the new name underlines Everllence’s role as a global leader in sustainable decarbonisation solutions. It also reflects the legacy of engineering excellence that spans more than 250 years of industrial innovation.
The name Everllence merges “Ever” and “Excellence” — a reference both to the company’s enduring history and its ongoing commitment to top-tier engineering and corporate responsibility.
While the brand identity is new, Everllence remains part of the Volkswagen Group and continues to offer its full portfolio of products and services across marine, energy, and industrial applications.
With approximately 15,000 employees and over 140 locations worldwide, Everllence is positioned to make a measurable impact on the global energy transition.
