The Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) has announced its annual call for projects aimed at supporting decarbonization efforts in Switzerland. This funding initiative is designed to accelerate the transition to climate-neutral energy solutions and encourage innovation in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Scope of the Funding includes Power-to-X
This call for tenders is intended to promote targeted measures that separate or remove CO₂ from point sources or from the atmosphere. The tender covers several areas of application for the capture of CO₂ and its use or storage. In particular, projects are addressed that create targeted synergies by combining several point sources or combining several energy areas in the sense of sector coupling.
Deadlines
Until the 25th April 2025, applicants must submit their pre-proposal. The decision will be made at the end of May.
Until 31. October 2025 is the deadline for the submission of the full proposal.
On the 19th December 2025, the subsidy surcharges will be communicated.
