H2 Mobility Switzerland (Förderverein H2 Mobilität Schweiz), an association focused on promoting hydrogen fuel cell technology for cleaner transportation, has become a member of the Swiss Power-to-X Collaborative Innovation Network (SPIN). This collaboration aligns with both entities’ interest in advancing sustainable mobility solutions within Switzerland.

H2 Mobility Switzerland aims to facilitate the adoption of hydrogen as a clean energy source in the transport sector by establishing a network of hydrogen refuelling stations. The association’s primary goal is to reduce carbon emissions from vehicles, contributing to a more sustainable environment.

SPIN, consisting of leading stakeholders from science, industry, associations and politics, focuses on advancing Power-to-X technologies and innovation.

The new partnership between H2 Mobility Switzerland and SPIN is intended to leverage synergies in campaigning for better framework conditions, in technology development and infrastructure planning. The joint effort seeks to enhance the deployment of hydrogen technologies and support the integration of renewable energy sources for hydrogen production.

By joining SPIN, H2 Mobility Switzerland has access to a wider network of expertise and collaborative opportunities, aiming for a more coordinated approach to addressing the challenges of energy transition and promoting Power-to-X and sustainable mobility solutions. This move is seen as a further step towards integrating hydrogen fuel cell vehicles into the Swiss energy system, contributing to the country’s environmental sustainability goals.
