SPIN member Axpo, in cooperation with a Germany software company Localiser, has supported the development of a new digital platform aimed at connecting stakeholders across Switzerland’s emerging green hydrogen market. The platform provides a matching opportunity for producers, mid-stream infrastructure providers and consumers. Based on self-reported data entered by these network participants, an up-to-date and transparent overview of existing and planned hydrogen projects can be expected.
The initiative is designed to accelerate the development of a domestic hydrogen economy by promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and investment coordination. It also helps identify synergies between supply and demand, thereby facilitating market development and infrastructure planning.
The platform is free, publicly accessible and intended as a dynamic tool: companies and institutions involved in hydrogen production, logistics, or consumption are invited to register and share their offers and demand for green molecules. In doing so, they contribute to a more efficient market environment and support Switzerland’s energy transition.
Axpo sees green hydrogen as a key pillar in achieving climate neutrality and decarbonising hard-to-abate sectors. The platform is part of broader efforts to scale up hydrogen use both in Switzerland and across Europe.
