Siemens Energy AG is joining the Swiss Power-to-X Collaborative Innovation Network SPIN. This strengthens the company’s position as a technology provider in the field of Power-to-X solutions.
As one of the leading suppliers of electrolysers, Siemens Energy provides the necessary technology for the construction of Power-to-X plants in cooperation with various partners and energy suppliers. These plants are central to the conversion of electrical energy into chemical energy, such as hydrogen, which plays an important role in reducing CO2 emissions.
Membership of SPIN gives Siemens Energy access to a network of companies, research organisations and technology partners. This promotes co-operation and the exchange of knowledge and resources necessary for the development and implementation of Power-to-X technologies. Another focus of cooperation within the network is the commitment to favourable framework conditions, for example with regard to legislation and regulations.
Through the partnership with SPIN, Siemens Energy is strengthening its role as a technology partner in the field of renewable energies and contributing to the development of Power-to-X technology in Switzerland. Such collaborations are crucial to addressing the technological and economic challenges in this sector.
